Hello, I am Tracy, one of the co-founders of Travelology. I was born in Ohio, and have also lived in Florida, but now I live in San Diego, California. I have always loved traveling, but one of my favorite things about traveling happens before you actually take your trip. What I really love are the details of the itinerary planning. The opportunity to be a part of a family-owned travel agency is truly a dream come true!

People always ask me about my favorite place to travel and I can never really pick one place. One of my favorite places was an unexpected destination. A few years back I was doing a trip with my family and one of our stops was in Montenegro. To be honest, I hadn’t really heard of that country and never had clients that had visited. It ended up being one of my favorite places on that trip. I think helping people to see they need to visit places that aren’t the most talked about places can be some of your best experiences. There are of course some must-see destinations, but finding something off of the beaten path even in those popular destinations can truly be the most fun!

I do love a good luxury trip to an exotic or unique destination, but I also really enjoy driving trips both domestic and international. If I can incorporate some self-drive into a trip, I will always opt for that. It gives you so much freedom to really explore. Another thing that I always try to incorporate in part of my trip is train travel. There are some amazing luxury trains around the world and those are some of my favorites. But in so many destinations you can also include some kind of scenic train adventure! Because of my love of trains, I have done my certification with Rail Europe and Rocky Mountaineer.

I have completed several ocean, luxury, and river cruise line certifications as well as land supplier and destination certifications. I have worked in some capacity in the travel industry for nearly 30 years. This means that I have learned about all aspects of the travel industry. This knowledge helps me with our clients and our travel advisors that work with us. I continue to build on my travel knowledge with trainings, workshops, courses, and of course personal travel.

Hi, I am Michelle, one of the co-founders of Travelology. I have been around the travel industry my entire life (thanks to my mom, Tracy), which means traveling has always been a huge part of my life! Travelology was founded based on our mutual passion for travel and the power it can have in someone’s life.

I started traveling domestically and internationally at a very young age. I have been to several countries with my first international trip being before I was even 2 years old! This has of course included a lot of traveling by plane but also by trains and cruises. Starting to travel at such a young age created a desire in me to help others see everything that the world has to offer by experiencing different cultures, enjoying the beauty of nature all over the globe, visiting huge cities and small villages, tasting new foods, seeing history come to life, and more! I love helping others learn about all there is to do in the world. I want to push you to get out of your comfort zone and explore something new!

Since opening Travelology, I have become a Certified Travel Advisor (CTA). However, before Travelology, my professional career had been in healthcare and marketing. My background in healthcare, marketing, and a B.S. in Applied Communication has equipped me with a strong attention to detail, great organizational skills, an excellent ability to problem solve, and strong communication skills. These qualities combined with my passion for travel are what led me to co-found our family-owned travel agency. 

I really do love to travel, but the good news is that I live in beautiful San Diego, California. This means that even when I’m not traveling, I am still in a pretty great place! My other favorite things to do include anything that I can do with my dog, Winter. So of course, I also love traveling with her whenever it’s possible!

Growing up in the rural northeast, far from any major airports, my family's annual driving trip to Disney World was my primary travel experience. While I cherish those memories, I always dreamed of exploring more of the world. Since relocating to San Diego in 2003, my passion for travel has expanded significantly. I have caught the travel bug and am endlessly enthusiastic about exploring the limitless world of sites, culture, food, people, history, and more!

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to visit and thoroughly research more than 23 countries. One of my most memorable experiences was a recent two-week sailing adventure down the stunning Alaskan coastline. I had the privilege of staying overnight in dreamy Alaskan bays and embarking on day expeditions to witness wildlife, glaciers, and charming small-town ports. It was truly a unique and unforgettable opportunity. Other favorite places are Thailand, Japan, Iceland, Seychelles, Maldives, and many Mexico destinations! My snowboarding background and familiarity with fantastic ski resorts across the U.S. and beyond also add an extra thrill to my journeys!

My love for travel has led me to a career in helping others to enjoy travel as much as I have. While I am happy to plan any type of travel, anywhere, I am working towards specializing in unique, intimate, and luxurious cruises, from river journeys to sea voyages. I am passionate about crafting personalized itineraries that provide unforgettable experiences for my clients.

Hi, I'm Katie! I am a Southern California native who loves being out and about. Your typical weekend warrior! I grew up going to all the sunny local beaches, skiing and hiking in the mountains (Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead, etc.), and day trips to San Diego, Los Angeles, and even trips up the coast through Monterey and beyond. Oh, did I mention Disneyland? I LOVE Disneyland! 

Growing up, my family traveled mainly to Hawaii, and I have visited all 4 of the major islands (Oahu, Kauai, Maui, and the Big Island). We love it there so much that we finally bought a place there in 2019! This inspired me to get my Hawaii Destination Expert certification from the Hawaii Tourism Authority. If you want to visit any of the islands, I'm your gal! 

When we weren't in Hawaii, we usually had passes to Disneyland! Growing up at the parks and even working there for a while, I still have such a passion for the magic. Fireworks, food, and the occasional hug from Mickey and Minnie never lose their charm and wonder! It brings out the child in everyone, and I love seeing families so happy experiencing it all together. 

I've also cruised to Alaska, seen Broadway shows in New York, climbed on red rocks in Sedona, AZ, experienced the magic of Walt Disney World, and even skipped across the pond to England.

I am a Colorado native and a mom of two adult children. My love for travel bloomed about 6 years ago when I took my first cruise for my 40th birthday. Since then I started to travel a few times a year and began selling travel. We love taking road trips to different states, cruising, and going to all-inclusive resorts. Hello, my name is Georgia, I'm an experienced advisor with quite a bit of travel under my belt. I was born in Chicago, IL. Growing up we never took any family trips. It proved too difficult coming from a family of 8 with hard-working parents. My first trip was at 18 years of age to Greece. It was a big one! What an experience. After the long direct flight, I entered a world unknown to me. My big city world just got even bigger. I entered the world of travel and never looked back. 

From then on I traveled all over the United States and several European countries. I studied French for 6 years with the dream of one day having a vacation home in France. I still have a desire to keep traveling and experiencing the world. After completing my education at Loyola University, my work took me in a different direction, but I always continued being the traveler and the travel agent for family and friends. I was always good at advising and finding the best deals for everyone. That's why it was natural for me to become an advisor.
